Closing the gap between talent and opportunity

In a world where communities face complex crises—from natural disasters and unsafe drinking water to the terrible effect of cancers and of Alzheimer’s disease—failing to support the next generation of problem solvers isn’t just a missed opportunity. It’s a collective failure.

Too often, the people with the greatest potential to tackle these challenges lack access to the networks, mentorship, and resources that open doors to impactful careers in science, technology, engineering, agriculture, and mathematics (STEAM).

There is a persistent gap between talent and opportunity, between brilliance and access.

ADDSTEAM exists to close that gap.

We see these complex issues as modern-day dragons, complex, high-stakes problems that demand courage, intellect, and innovation. Our Scholars are the knights, and ADDSTEAM is the merchant shop, providing them with $1,000 scholarships, 1:1 mentoring, job support, and powerful professional networks to help them slay these dragons and make lasting change.

ADDSTEAM equips young leaders with the tools to thrive in STEAM fields and to drive real change in our communities, which is urgently needed now more than ever.
